Teto's Birthday Bash DELUXE was released on April 1st, 2022. Originally planned for release in 2020, the game was in development hell and suffered several internal delays. Ironically, none of them were related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The game was initally intended as an inside april fools joke for the vocaloid ebooks community, before shifting gears and becoming a joke for the Vocaloid community in general. It was developed by Studio Brainrot's April Team, a bespoke team formed for this project. Many different guest artists worked on the project.
